How to reach Marina di Olbia (MOYS), our boarding point

In short
Our Sardinia tours leave from Marina di Olbia — MOYS, via Piovene 8, on the southern waterfront of the city. From Costa Smeralda airport it is a 3-minute drive, 5 from the centre, 7 from the ferry terminal, about half an hour from San Teodoro on the SS125. Park at the marina area or at the big shopping centre one minute away. Arrive fifteen minutes before departure.

“Where exactly do we find you?” is the question we get most often the day before the tour. Here is the full answer, with real times and the parking trick.

Where MOYS exactly is

The boarding point is Marina di Olbia – MOYS, via Piovene 8: the marina on Olbia’s southern waterfront, airport side, with 270 berths, a bar and a restaurant. It is not the ferry port (Isola Bianca): that is across the gulf, a 7-minute drive away.

By car (and where to park)

From San Teodoro: SS125 towards Olbia, about half an hour. From Porto San Paolo some twenty minutes, from Golfo Aranci 25. Your sat nav set to “Marina di Olbia” takes you right to the gate.

The parking trick

There is parking around the marina, but in summer it fills fast. The plan B that never fails: the big shopping centre one minute from the marina, with a large car park — from there the piers are a short walk. On peak days allow an extra 10 minutes and you are fine.

From the airport, the port, Olbia centre

Costa Smeralda airport: a 3-minute drive or taxi — if you land on the morning of the tour, you can make it comfortably. Isola Bianca ferry terminal: 7 minutes. Olbia centre: 5 minutes by car, or a seafront walk of about half an hour.

Car-free from San Teodoro: ARST bus 514 to Olbia (it also calls at the airport), then a short taxi to the marina. In summer there is also the Olbia–Golfo Aranci train for those coming from that side.

How early to arrive (and what to bring)

Fifteen minutes before departure is perfect: time to meet at the pier, stow your bags and leave on schedule. Bring a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen and little else: masks, life jackets and prosecco are already on board. The marina bar is open all year for the pre-departure coffee.

Quick answers

Is there parking at the marina? Yes, and on busy days the shopping centre one minute away has a large car park. Allow 10 extra minutes in high season.

I arrive by ferry or plane that same morning: can I make it? Almost always yes: the airport is 3 minutes away, the ferry terminal 7. Send us your arrival time and we will tell you if it fits.

What if I am late? Tell us right away on WhatsApp: a few minutes can almost always be managed, but the boat is shared and the sea keeps its own schedule — the sooner we know, the better.

Pick your tour from the Sardinia page or the table above: book online in a minute and the skipper confirms.
