How much does a Lake Como boat tour cost? 2026 prices
Short answer: a boat tour in Como starts at €50 per person for the one-hour shared cruise and goes up to €550 per boat for the three-hour private route to Bellagio. In between there’s the right fit for couples, families and groups. Below: current prices, what’s always included, and some honest advice on choosing.
The prices, in plain sight
| Shared tour · 1 hour | 1 hour | €50 per person |
| Shared tour · 2 hours | 2 hours | €120 per person |
| Sunset + aperitif · 1 hour | 1 hour | €50 per person |
| Bellagio tour · 3 hours | 3 hours | €120 per person |
| Private tour · 1 hour | 1 hour | €250 per boat |
| Private tour · 2 hours | 2 hours | €500 per boat |
| Private tour · 3 hours | 3 hours | €700 per boat |
This table is always up to date: it’s the same data that powers bookings on this site, so what you see is what you pay. No surcharges on board.
What drives the price
Three things: duration (1, 2 or 3 hours of navigation), the formula (shared with other guests or a private boat all to yourselves) and the time of day — the sunset aperitivo cruise adds golden light at the same price as the shared hour. The route grows with the time: one hour covers the first basin and its villas, two hours reach Torno and Nesso, three hours go all the way to Bellagio with free time ashore.
Always included (zero hidden costs)
- Professional skipper and fuel
- Life jackets
- Prosecco and soft drinks (water, tea, Coca-Cola)
- Small groups: max 12 guests on board
Shared or private: which one?
Shared is the smart pick for couples and small groups: you only pay for your seats. Private wins when you’re many: with 5 people, the one-hour private (€250 per boat) already costs the same as shared — but the boat is yours, at your own pace. With 8-10, private always wins.
What about the public ferry?
The ferry is cheaper, but it’s transportation: fixed times, fixed stops, summer crowds. The speedboat is an experience: you glide beneath the villas, stop for photos, and the skipper tells you the lake’s stories. They’re two different things — many visitors use the ferry to move around and the speedboat to actually live the lake.
