Every tour leaves from our pier in central Como with a licensed local skipper, fuel, life jackets and a prosecco aperitif included. The one-hour shared tour starts at 48 euro per person and is the quickest way to see the first basin and the villas; the two-hour version at 99 euro goes as far as Nesso. To reach the pearl of the lake there is the three-hour tour with a stop in Bellagio at 105 euro per person.
If you prefer the boat to yourselves, the private tours are booked per boat and start at 238 euro for one hour, 484 for two and 609 for three, up to 12 guests, with the route decided together. At sunset there is the one-hour sunset cruise at 68 euro per person, timed on the actual sunset of the day. And if you want to drive yourself, the boat rental without a licence starts at 105 euro per hour for up to 6 people.

Where to find us
Our pier is at Viale Geno 12, on the Como lakefront next to Villa Geno, a 10-minute walk from Piazza Cavour and the city centre. Please be there 15 minutes before departure: just give your name, there is no ticket to print.
Arriving by car
The handiest car park is Parcheggio Viale Geno, a few steps from the pier, which usually has free spaces. If it is full, Lungo Lario Trieste is a 10-minute walk, while Parcheggio Centro Lago by the lake gardens and the covered Autosilo Valduce, open 24 hours, are both about 20 minutes on foot. Arriving from Milan
From Milano Cadorna the train reaches Como Nord Lago in about 40 minutes and costs around 5 euro: that station is the closest, 12 minutes on foot along the lake. From Milano Centrale you arrive instead at Como San Giovanni, 20 minutes on foot or a short taxi ride. Arriving by ferry or from Bellagio

The villas you see from the water
Heading north out of Como you pass, within minutes, some of the most photographed houses in Europe. Just after our pier, in Blevio, there is Villa Troubetzkoy with its pointed turret, Villa Usuelli where the ballerina Maria Taglioni lived, and the Mandarin Oriental built into Villa Roccabruna. On the Como shore stand Villa Palatina, home of Remo Ruffini, and the Aero Club with its seaplanes.
The opposite shore opens onto Cernobbio: Villa d'Este from 1568, Villa Erba of the Visconti family and Villa Pizzo with the longest lakefront on Lake Como. A little further, in Moltrasio, Villa Fontanelle that belonged to Gianni Versace.
Further north comes Torno, with Villa Pliniana from 1573 and the hotel Il Sereno, then the Orrido di Nesso and George Clooney's Villa Oleandra in Laglio. On the trip up to Bellagio you also meet Isola Comacina, the lake's only island, Villa La Cassinella, Villa del Balbianello of the Bond films and the Gardens of Villa Melzi.

Coming from Milan?
Como is about 40 minutes from Milan by train: frequent departures from Milano Centrale to Como San Giovanni, and from Milano Cadorna to Como Nord Lago, the station closest to the lake.
From the centre of Como our meeting point is a few minutes on foot, so you can leave Milan in the morning, take the tour and be back the same day without a car.

Do I need a boat licence?
No: every tour comes with a skipper. Only the licence-free rental in Como has you driving, within the legal limits (40 hp).
Where do the Como tours depart from?
From the Salimar pier at Viale Geno 12, on the Como lakefront next to Villa Geno, a 10-minute walk from Piazza Cavour. Please be there 15 minutes before departure.
What is included in the price?

What should I bring on board?

How far in advance should I book?
In high season (June-September) we suggest 2-3 days ahead, and even more for the sunset slots: they sell out first. Last minute, write to us on WhatsApp.

Yes: every tour also comes as a private option, with the boat just for your group. Prices and times are on the tour page, or write to us on WhatsApp for tailor-made combinations.
Which Como tour is right for me?
One hour for a taste of the first basin, two hours to reach Torno and Nesso, three hours for Bellagio with free time ashore. At sunset, the aperitivo version is the favourite.
Is there shade on board?
Yes: every tour boat has a bimini top that shields you from the sun in the hottest hours and from a passing shower. If you prefer sunbathing, the bow is all yours.
