With a little luck, you will meet the dolphins that live along this stretch of coast. The Tavolara – Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area hides some of the clearest water in the Mediterranean: pink granite, turquoise coves and beaches you can only reach by boat. Our 4-hour shared tours leave Olbia every morning and afternoon, with swim and snorkeling stops between Tavolara and Molara.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a boat licence?
No: every tour comes with a skipper. Only the licence-free rental in Como has you driving, within the legal limits (40 hp).
Where do we depart from in Sardinia?
From MOYS Marina di Olbia, Via Piovene 8: parking next to the pier, ASPO bus 2/10 from the airport. The exact point comes with the confirmation.
Will we see dolphins?
This stretch of sea is frequented by dolphins, so sightings are very likely, but they are wild animals and we cannot guarantee it.
Do we enter the Tavolara Marine Protected Area?
Yes: swim and snorkel stops happen in the MPA's coves, chosen according to the day's wind.
Is it suitable for families and kids?
Yes: life jackets in all sizes, adapted speed with little ones on board, calm waters. Children pay as adults.
What should I bring on board?
Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, a cap and a light sweater for the ride back. In Sardinia wear your swimsuit from the start: the swim stops come early.
When is the best time to go?
From May to October we run almost daily; June and September offer warm water and half of August's crowds.
What happens in case of bad weather?
If conditions are not safe we reschedule or cancel at no cost, and we tell you before departure time. You can also request the cancellation yourself by writing to us on WhatsApp at +39 345 806 4432.
What is included in the price?
Always included: professional skipper, fuel, life jackets in every size, prosecco and soft drinks. In Sardinia, snorkeling masks too.
Is there shade on board?
Yes: every tour boat has a bimini top that shields you from the sun in the hottest hours and from a passing shower. If you prefer sunbathing, the bow is all yours.
Where can I park in Olbia?
Parking is at Marina di Olbia, a few steps from the pier: Parcheggio Marina di Olbia (al pontile) If it is full, there is a shopping centre one minute away by car.
